A power trio like no other. Energy at Max! They call it doom-jazz and their album “Blind Fury”. Hard hitting, heavily rhythmical tunes for head, heart and feet. Music by saxophonist, Harry Weir, with dons to mentors like Shabaka Hutchings, Fela Kuti and Young Fathers. The experience can be cathartic: big grooving bass, thundering drums, wild bone and sax expression…making a noise three musicians have no right to muster. Passionate sounds from the loudest force on the new Glasgow scene.
Harry Weir: Tenor saxophone, baritone saxophone & effects
Liam Shortall: Trombone, tuba & effects
Graham Costello: Drums
